Berlin’s M.I/mi1glissé recently launched a new website, put together by artist and BCR host, Claire Tolan. The project was started in the middle of this year with the aim of bringing M.I/mi1glissé’s various activities together, in a self-termed “artist-built system”. Their first publication is also by Tolan, a “self interview” about the site’s emerging consciousness.

“To be so consumed in something is to give it more of yourself than you realise. What is in here? To you it is a labyrinthine publication system; to me, it is an impression in my brain down through my body, just as I am embedded inside of it.”, writes Tolan in Build.

Running M.I since the middle of 2015 on the ground-floor front-room of Auguststr. 10 in Mitte (and supported by the occupants of the long established artist community living above), curator Joel Mu, hopes the website will “re-issue” past projects by many of its exhibited artists: Jasmin Werner, for instance, who is currently profiled in the print edition of KubaParis; or Alex Chalmers and Christophe de Rohan Chabot, who recently presented a two-person solo-exhibition with the gallery, in Paris.

Plenty is planned for M.I/mi1glissé’s programme in 2017, so check out mi1glisse.com till then.
