Hard and soft is a contemplation on duality and the phenomena of like/unlike things. It is a musing on the aspects around us that contain two facets at the same time. By considering the tactile representation of this occurrence, we have curated a selection of new works by young artists that perfectly convey this duplexity. The significance of Hard and Soft away from the visual and physical brings attention to an ever increasingly polarized world and simultaneously a world where one must become evermore multifaceted. At the core is a conflict, our bifurcation, an emblem of modernity and contemporary life. Hard and Soft exhibition and dinner conjures up these conflicts and commonalities and aims to reposition them into a positive point for discussion, togetherness and reverie.
