Although giants cannot access the interior, they can stand outside and rely on their imagination to explore its inner world. From a bird’s-eye view, we see tiny buildings that appear to have been handled wildly by caretakers. Stepping back and viewing the scene from afar, we can make the world feel smaller and more manageable, like a folded paper.
The exhibition "knees and toes, knees and toes" features a diverse group of invited artists who dwell into the theme of miniature - its definition, character, and function. Through their individualized interpretations of small-scale artworks, they collectively construct a microcosm: a miniature cityscape teeming with vitality and possibilities that extend beyond its borders, offering a reflection of the wider world.
