Solo-exhibition with Norwegian artist Matias Kiil (b.1995) in our experimental exhibitions space KUBEN

Text

The exhibition ´yes and no´ consists of three sculptures addressing physical qualities in the collision of surface, commonly known as corners. In a navigational sense the corner offers clarity by framing the environment and creating focal points. In spite of its reassuring characteristics the corner is also somewhat of a conflict or debate - a directional confrontation in which the parameters of our surroundings take shape. The installation deals with motions and portrays internal geometrics in space and object, generating its form by connecting one surface with the other.
