Jay Jermyn. April 28 - May 08, 2021 Ritual, Light. Exhibition Jay Jermyn is a musician, industrial designer and contemporary artist, his work tends to examine the relationship between digital, natural and human phenomena. Through this lens, Jay seeks to propose new ways of looking at the notions of self and its fragmentation within the contexts of nature, modern technological environments and electronic music. Over the Australian summer of 2021/22 Jay was artist in residence for 5 months at Home of the Arts, HOTA, Gold Coast. His latest collection of work was developed and built onsite between escaping to the rainforest creeks of the Gold Coasts hinterland and losing time to techno in his studio.
