Love is not easy. But could you love grass? Tomek Paszkowicz invites fellow artists and close companions to his solo exhibition at Galeria Przeciąg. Alongside his own works, the exhibition will feature pieces by Maja Janczar, Julia Ciunowicz, and Piotr Kowalski. This gesture of inclusion is, for Paszkowicz, an artistic practice—an attempt to break the solitary model of artistic work. It also reflects the need for visibility and recognition that often accompanies creative endeavors. What if, instead of appropriating ideas, we made space to appreciate each other? The exhibition focuses on the subjectivity of grass, especially the grass growing along roadsides—a plant that often escapes notice. Recognizing it requires attentiveness, the same attentiveness that helps us see others and value their stories and work. Thus, the exhibition becomes a story about love: the ability to pause, engage with what catches our attention, and offer something of ourselves in return.
