An unconventional integration of art into the space of a sewing workshop.
Historically, textile products have often been used in psychiatric wards, both as therapy and as a disciplinary tool, revealing their double-edged nature as a means of control and a path to self-expression. The repetitive, rule-driven process reflects how society constructs mental norms, while its flaws—snags, knots, and tears—expose the fragility of these structures. The rhythm of weaving mirrors the cycles of thought: repetition can be soothing or spiral into compulsive loops, echoing patterns of anxiety, obsession, aggression, despair, or other mental states.
