Subheadline

Agreement between Time and Space or Of the Love for Things Sofia Cruz Rocha and Claudia Brandl-Linder The first artistic encounter of two women who met a few years ago was when one of them was looking for a space to live in. Now they meet again in a space to share their special relationship and love for the things that are art to them. Because of the special (intimate) relationship with the exhibition space, one will instruct the other in these realities in a specific way. The other: "How can I know the space of Pinacoteca, through your experience of 'wise love' that you have?... that is: there are a lot of ways to get knowledge. This is a particular way: how to get knowledge 'through the narrative' ". The particular form of narration about the circumstances will become visible in connections, between the space and the works. Likewise, mutual preferences for each other's individual works will be expressed - " ... Transmit (to give) a unity of different experiences about the same things," says the other. In the end, not only the selection of certain works are to be presented in the room, but also the discussion that led to this selection and the specific presentation: we imagine that texts will emerge in the process, very likely also variants of things and situations, attempts, etc., and that the works will be presented in a different way.
