BUCHSTÄBLICH an evolving exhibition on forms of artistic articulation staged by Elmar Hermann Wie wird das Wort zum Bild, das Bild zur Wirklichkeit? Die Ausstellung vereint kontrastiv Kunstwerke, die den Prozess des Verstehens auf buchstäbliche oder metaphorische Weise reflektieren. In beiden Fällen kann Bedeutung erst in einem speziellen Kontext entstehen. So befindet sich das gesamte Projekt in einem von Elmar Hermann und Stephan Machac initiierten und organisierten Wandel von Ausstellung, Aufführung und Diskussion. How does a word become an image, how does the image become reality? The exhibition brings together a set of contrasting art works that reflect the process of understanding in a literal or metaphorical way. In both cases, meaning can only arise in a specific context. The whole project is constantly changing between exhibition, performance and discussion, initiated and organized by Elmar Hermann and Stephan Machac.
