Subheadline

The snake charmer creates a dialogue between her personal universe and the memories of her trip to Morocco. She borrows from the cinema gore the monstrous aspect of these members and hybrid objects; on which crawls slowly the reptiles that punctuate the daily life of Place Jemaa el-Fna as well as our myths and legends. Naomi Gilon is a fine artist and sculptor based in Brussels, BE. Her practice explores the biological and physiological through abstract forms and the reappropriation of matter and form in its given environment, within which she treads between reality and fantasy.
