Clages is pleased to present the second edition of a series of interventions
titled Nee danke, ich gucke nur. Visible from street level, this project series
utilizes the inside space and architecture with the intent of connecting to the
public in a time of increased social isolation and physical distancing.
Claus Richter's Resilienz even goes one step further than part 1 of the project
– not only opening the gallery space to the outside world but also
expanding across the street utilizing two opposite window displays to depict the
slowly grinding wheels of a global pandemic and its impacts on our resilience,
coping mechanisms and everyday life. Richter's playful approach to combining the
public and private spheres of the closed art galleries and private life
situations may lend a humorous perspective to people strolling down Brüsseler
Straße.
