Text

Sardenhaus, located in Westpark, Munich, was built in 1983 for the International Garden Expo. The exhibition, Since Forever, took the determined setting of the venue as a starting point to examine social and historical frameworks and the language and behaviour they produce. Common and easily overlooked gestures, taken from both domestic and commercial settings, were transformed into a variety of works, ranging from sculpture and print, to video.
