‘Skin and Desire’ exhibition at mental space HR1, includes a body of small-scale polyester sculptures that were born out of a period of production during 2021 at Alfons Knogl studio in Cologne. Amorphic shaped objects are connected to the casted objects of use. The appearance of these sculptures is reminiscent of totems from the future. The strong figurative presence of the human body in a modified condition dominates the current presentation. TG’s never before shown pornographic photo collages are mixed with earlier works from 2004, which are at once comic and dark, perverse and serious, grotesque and simply sexy.
