wip_02: Late Bloom 

While others wither, certain flowers start to bloom at the end of summer, abide by the transition of weather condition, thus show nothing in terms of transforming is ever too late. The process of nature on changing, adapting and regenerating itself is sometimes meant to be late, even though our human cognition might not assume so. Thus evokes the pleasant upon bewilderment seeing the last flower, the last pieces of fruit still hanging on the branch of a tree, nourished by the tree even when its season has been over. A relationship between late maturity and adaptation of resources to create the last fruit that ripens against the convention of time.   So is artist’s practice. It might not only that an Artist’s practice ever be too late but it is the process of practicing that they open new horizons of possibilities for themselves and generating new knowledge through their practices. When is an art work ever thought to be completed? The exhibition “WIP_02: Late Bloom“ reveals various aspects on these ideas   „Work in Process“ is an interdisciplinary group of artists that puts artistic research into their main practices. They focus on the abstract, blurry idea of creative thinking process in order to turn it into visual and sensual perception. Their works deal with the knowledge of the pre-given materials in the context of an open search movement hence develop further, in order to enhance impulses for changes. The act of creation is interwoven with destruction and deconstruction, expresses the loss in translation between virtual and real worlds, spirits and materials mark the resemblance of all six artists.
