Subheadline

BRITTA RETTBERG introduces Park, a project space within the gallery that serves as an experimental field and platform for emerging international positions. Through an open and collaborative approach, Park gives visibility to new ways of thinking, expanded models of artistic research, and alternative concepts of presentation. The specific architecture of the space becomes an integral part of each exhibition project. Park functions autonomously, but can interact analogously or contrastively with the main exhibitions running in parallel in the gallery.

Text

Boban Andjelkovic (*1975 Serbia, lives and works in Munich) has developed a multimedia installation for Park in which personal experience and reflection on current social tendencies merge in a space-consuming staging. Andjelkovic continues his examination of the conditions of painting and expands it to include an exploration of new technologies and digital modes in the artistic production process.
