Text

Around 2000 years ago, the Romans were riding along the Upper Rhine Plain to expand their empire. The Black Forest was to pass, and a suitable occasion had to be found. Seduced by the hot waters that gush from the deep earth, the Romans settled to build a bath-bath at this gate to the woodz. AQUAE, where mother earth is sweating and is heating up the coldest nights. The times ate the Romans but were blocked by branches rich of leaves that kept the myths over centuries and will hide the secrets of the black forest from curious gazes for its wife, the eternity. Circling around, streaming for nothing, the blackest nights are dreamed under the trees that whisper the universe’s codes and provide shelter to the stories that are never to be found true or false. Beyond the categories of the Roman minds, the second chapter of Garden Cult Triennale plays at one of the gates to this forest aforementioned.
