Intermediate View and Association

"Intermediate View and Assoziation" is a solo exhibition by Lorenz Kunath evolving around the translation process of images from one medium to another. Starting always from a bird's-eye view, the photographs and paintings show the search for an overview of the world and the problems that arise when you distance yourself to far from the processes you want to understand. The accompanying publication deals with these images in the medium of text and tries to fathom how images work in mediums dominated by words.
