K I N G K O N G 2 0 2 0 presents installations, performances, sound and video works to open a dialogue about paternalistic infantilization, validity, legal and official paternalism, narrative identities and their forms of expression. The works of Laura Stellacci, Anna Regner, Franziska König, Nina Emge, Merle Dammhayn & Belia Brückner are looking through the mirror of the past, reflecting categories and patterns of biases, social evils and domestication grounded in paternalism. Their stories of truth and fiction, of observations and memories, invite for discourse and to create alternative narratives.
