She BAM! Galerie Lætitia Gorsy host Nitsa Meletopoulos’s first solo exhibition ‘Grotto-Modo’. This exhibition focuses on the original practice and techniques from this ceramic artist, proposing at the same time a contemporary cabinet of wonders and a chimeric landscape of objects and surprising creatures.

`GROTTO-MODO` let you dive headlong into the surprising, chimeric and expressive world of the artist. Mixing contemporary pottery and sculpture, pop and tradition, natural and artificial, sausages and lemons - unexpected combinations will follow you through your whole visit and bring you to aesthetic ecstasy. Using techniques like throwing, moulding, or 3D printing Nitsa is questioning the understanding of shapes, what is organic, and how the forms are impacting our perception. Bold colours and extravagance will knock you out of reality and will place you in a whole different world. A world where landscapes, objects, nature and the supernatural are fused and organically co-existing.
