PHANTOM LIMB

Centro Párraga presents Phantom Limb by Berlin and Madrid-based artist, Mit Borrás Mit Borrás, the new piece within the body of work of ADAPTASI CYCLE, developed over the last five years, synthesizing and diluting the limits of the past and the future, the organic and synthetic, the natural and the technological progress. The exhibition opened on November 18th and will be on view until January 6th, 2022. During the opening reception for PHANTOM LIMB, Borrás’ new visual works premiered, along with a performance, which was a multi-dimensional spatial installation, featuring video, a live performer, sound, and other key elements of Borrás’ visual world. PHANTOM LIMB incorporates a video installation which is part of Borrás’ new body of work, the ADAPTASI CYCLE, which is a divination of our reality, transcending the limits of pasts and futures, the organic and synthetic, the natural and technological. His work seeks to explore the metaphysical depths of adaptation as a method of surpassing the categorial limits of existence.
