Philip Pichler‘s solo show Tinte combines octopus-like objects with commissioned texts by friends. Tentacles have been flash frozen while meandering around the boxes and dancing erectly to absent screamings of an amateurish horror movie; a bucket and acrylic glass boards covered with smelly squid ink are leaning in between. This collaborative giant squid has a momentary body, which is in constant change as the papers are being carried away from the boxes. Into this happy abyss six befriended authors have thrown their texts, each dealing in a unique way with travel experiences and a basic sentiment of never arriving anywhere.
