A work of yours that you particularly like and why?
I usually like the most recent works the most. On the downside I tend to dislike older ones and I can be quite radical with them. Since I just moved into my new atelier I am surrounded with only fresh Canvases and at the moment I am trying to invent a body of works, which turns around gluttony. Female read persons are still my protagonists but aside that the setting is changing quite rapidly and the figures become more alive. So this developement is something I am looking foreward to.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I think my favorite part of this job is to be occupied dealing with problems that appear on a very personal level. Finding strategies and solutions can be quite overwhelming

What makes something worth making?
The comfort and relief when something turns out surprisingly good.

From which artist would you like to own a work?
I think I would like to have something from Henri Roussau, my mother had some sort of cataloge at home and they where the first paintings I had fallen for.

Which art movement has inspired you the most so far?
I love the Idea of art history and how one thing has lead to another. One of my favorite places to go is the Musée d´ Orsay in Paris, before that I have been really into the Avantgarde movement. If One would break down this question into a movement, for sure it has always been paintings that touched me the most and probably the Renaissance the most (is that a movement? Haha)
