The artist, Paula Linke, plays with her work titles, often contradicting her artistic aesthetics characterised by an airy tenderness in shades of rose, white and grey.

Paula Linke (1987, Berlin) lives and works in Hamburg. She received her MA in 2016 in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London and will commence an artist residency at CitĂ© Internationale des Arts Paris in Autumn 2022. Her most recent Solo exhibitions include âDer Cheerleader Effektâ, Galerie WassermĂŒhle Trittau, Germany 2020 and âYou Smell Niceâ Nomadenoase 4 im 8. Salon, Hamburg, Germany 2019.
Her works have been exhibited at the Camden Arts Center and ASC Gallery in London and Midway Contemporary Art in Minneapolis, USA amongst others.
