Everything that matters has to carry its own weight. It takes up so much space that you can't pass through normally, you just have to force your way through. You have to figure out how to fit anything else in, too. If even this 'other' does fit, it has to be placed sideways somehow (it doesn't look good, and it's more and more difficult to move around). Matter rarely arranges itself in our way. Usually it strives for comfort, it sprawls or overflows. The lightness of form goes hand in hand with the heaviness of construction. One cannot have too many important things. Ideally one, max two. The most important ones will be called concerns.
