Utopia is a broad, contradictory concept that portrays an idealized imaginary world existing outside of temporal and geographical coordinates. It is an unattainable dream that has spontaneously emerged throughout the history of civilization in various forms, manifesting itself as an instinctive impulse or a clearly formulated idea. Impossible to materialize, yet natural and appealing to human consciousness, utopian space today serves as a kind of tool, an implant of perception, allowing us to envision our own version of an ideal place. The "Utopia" project invites contemplation on where such a place would be and what it would be like. Why do we desire to be in it or, conversely, what do we want to escape from? And most importantly, is it achievable?
