Diskurszone Ost - Reparatur und Revolution

For over 30 years, East Germany has been seen as a testing ground for overcoming the challenges of structural change, but also as a testing ground for political radicalisation strategies. In the exhibition "Diskurszone Ost - Reparatur und Revolution", we are showing the photographic, video-based and sculptural works of the artists Eric Meier, Erik Niedling and Sven Gatter at AFF Galerie in Berlin from 2 May to 30 June 2024, which reflect these developments and open up spaces for thought beyond the usual patterns of explanation. An accompanying series of events with the political scientist and psychoanalyst Dr. Judith Christine Enders, the transformation researcher Prof. Dr Melanie Jaeger-Erben, the educationalist Florian Fischer, the author and educationalist ManuEla Ritz, the writer and journalist Annett Gröschner, the writer and dramaturge Peggy Mädler and the photo artist Wenke Seemann will explore the themes of the exhibition in greater depth with workshops, readings and talks. - Sunday, 26.05.2024, 10 – 1 pm:
