In BONYLAB, the artist duo Juri Simoncini and Elisa Diaferia focus their research on the world of film production as a container of translation processes, insisting on questions of accessibility in the context of storytelling.
The movie is intended here as a framework, a choral machine to observe the tension points in the assembly line of worldbuilding, with its continuous linguistic negotiations. In the show, these offer a point of view to look into the narrative and transactional implications that regulate the relation
between drawing, sound, written word and movement. In a theatrical endeavor combining sci-fi, crime and musical genres, the narration reflects on the relationship between elements such as voice and body, apparatus and diegesis, mythology and landscape.
