Bleica (Slight Obsession)

Bleica (Slight Obsession) – whatever that may mean. It can be intriguing, playful, even mad – but it can also be unsettling, full of doubt, extremely tedious, and at times, nearly unreadable. It can be amusing – but only up to a point. In its bizarre forms, barely contained compulsions begin to crystallize – almost uncontrollable experiences of meaninglessness, anxiety, frustration, paralyzing repetition, and the overlapping of interests and obsessions. Obsession is something that shakes the very core of the personality. It can be radical, deviant, manifesting as an automatic and compulsive repetition. Such anachronism appears both in childlike play and in the “repetition compulsion” of the neurotic. This exhausting, continuous, and obsessive process intensifies the strongest drives, the most neurotic forms of stubbornness, subjective aversions, and an ongoing doubt toward everything that is given.
