L’ esito dell’ esperimento è stato quello di sentirmi chiuso per la prima volta da quest’ altra parte del foglio. Questo è ciò che comporta il cambio di ruolo, lo scambio di ruolo, lo scambio. Mentre scrivo faccio mangiare il gatto di nascosto, penso poi a come sia dolcemente egocentrico condividere alcune cose e persone che ritengo di qualitá; avaro mentre mostro e non mollo il mio orsetto. Direi che se il ventaglio è stato l’ attrezzo che ho usato di più per lavorare a questa collettiva, sì può allora curare qualcosa o qualcuno andando via e facendosi aria, fumando, da lontano, mettendo lo smalto, in un altro giorno... Se vogliamo sono stato ancora una volta egoista, perchè in fondo queste opere le ho immaginate e fatte mie. Egoista inoltre, se come credo, tutto è stato per essere qui dietro al foglio a dare il prosciutto al gatto. Adesso basta però, sono stanco e mangio solo io. ENG Version The outcome of the experiment was that, for the first time, I felt shut in on this other side of the page. This is what comes with a change of role, a role reversal, an exchange. As I write, I secretly feed the cat, then I think about how sweetly egocentric it is to share certain things and people I consider of quality; stingy as I show off my teddy bear without letting it go. I would say that if the fan was the tool I used the most to work on this group exhibition, then yes, it is possible to care for something or someone by leaving, by making air, by smoking, from afar, by putting on nail polish, on another day… If we want to put it that way, I was once again selfish, because in the end I imagined these works and made them mine. Selfish also, if—as I believe—everything was just to be here, behind the page, feeding ham to the cat. But that’s enough now, I’m tired and only I am eating.
