An exhibition by Emma Kling and Amelie Schlögelhofer
Text
Everything in my peripheral vision has turned into a phone. I have begun to receive notifications from objects, materials and the weather. Whenever something lights up I believe I am in communication. The sun shines into a shape on the floor and I think someone has sent me a text, the light in the room makes a piece of paper so bright it is newsworthy, I am distracted by a lamp shining rectangular on a varnished seat, a patent shoe in the evening reflects street lights and again I find myself attempting to respond.
