It is actually very simple: it is the relationship to everything around you, the awareness of your influence on the surroundings and that of your surroundings on you. As a magician, you know that there is no such thing as passive things. Everything has its own energy, needs and character traits. Magicians find it very normal to talk to a tree, a cow, or a painting. They all say something back and it is good for humans to be quiet and listen carefully for once.
