Microgravities

Microgravities is the first solo exhibition at NıCOLETTı by London-based artist George Henry Longly. The exhibition features a new body of work including wall sculptures and video that express the artist’s interest for life in space, its physical and emotional effects, as well as its representations in popular culture. Taking the form of composite assemblages of various materials such as marble, glass, aluminum and wood, Longly’s works weave multiple references ranging from NASA imagery, science fiction and horror film posters to Flintstones characters and moonscape paintings.
