Naomi Gilon, Shoes for «La Femme en fourrure», sandstone heeled shoes , 18 size EU 38, 2021
Like wandering cats, the six artists in this exhibition offer a multidisciplinary reading of art that dialogues in a space with its own connotations.
This exhibition takes place in an atypical place in Brussels that is part of the Horta (architect) heritage list.
At the time this building housed a haberdashery and hosiery which is now revived by culture.
The creation of a place within a place in order to broaden the point of view of the viewer is the guiding line of the project. This refers to architectural questions read through the prism of the artist Manfred Pernice; who builds his installations as associations of elements borrowing architectural techniques.
The works are installed on an accumulation of bases, in the voids and the solids, thus giving a theatrical atmosphere to their dialogues.
