Everything I Feel

The exhibition Everything I Feel is a history of confrontations, a 46-year-old white man (sic!), an European, with himself and with the world. Capturing a certain transitional moment in life and facing the fact that after this change some things take on a new meaning. Everything I Feel occurs on both the micro and macroscales. Microscale covers corporeity, sexuality, influences, interactions, the moments that make you. The macroscale is associated with the relation to the country, the world and to humanity. These two perspectives serve as the basic foundation for creating a new universe. They interpenetrate in the form of a loose visual notebook, “this loose, drifting material of life" as Virginia Woolf wrote in her diary. The details from everyday life are mixed with the scenes from history, culture and art. Paintings are inspired by photos from newspapers, family albums, iPhone snaps, or just dreams. The notes are heterogeneous, escaping from style and manner. They are a collection of vague and ambiguous emotions. They don't tell a single story but they just give a taste of everything I feel. Łukasz Dziedzic (b. 1977, Poland) audio-visual artist, musician, painter, art designer and curator. Studies – 1999-2004 at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Silesia in Katowice. From 2004 to 2022, he co-run Warsaw based Galeria Szara. He creates videos, installations, music projects and has curated many exhibitions. Years later, he returns to the abandoned medium of painting, finding in this traditional technique the possibility of analysing irritating and uncomfortable subjects.
