Bare tiles, a red flag embossed with a white cross and a light-flooded, large room on the corner of a Leipzig street - the charm of a former shop mixes grotesquely with that of the new flashing kitchen, which together form the exhibition space PLUS. Prof. Michael Riedel's class at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig opens a space that is both exhibition space and living room. The spatial concept is determined by the circumstances: Over a homemade drink and snack, three students from the class present their work once a month for one evening. The Swiss flag is hoisted in front of the exhibition space, which is also taken up again and yet again in the visual identity of PLUS.
The first exhibition at PLUS features works by Bosse Bergfeld, Paul Nägele and Luka Naujoks.
