What auditory sensation area does urban society develop with regard to the bodies and spaces that are situated within it? Where, when and about what does âsilencioâ prevail?
The range of what is acoustically perceptible to humans is physically limited, but also symbolically strictly regulated by civilizational development processes. Nevertheless, we know that none of this is set in stone.
Through sensitive and at the same time self-confident interventions, the exhibited artists make tangible the force of the unspoken, the unsaid, the unspeakable that drills its way to the surface. They show and break hierarchical structures, hold on to the conversation and enter into a dialog with an exhibition space that has long been considered a âstilles Ărtchenâ.
